About the Role Valiol Trading is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil & gas trading industry with proven experience selling industrial products such as pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, plates, structural steel, and related engineering materials to EPC contractors, oil & gas operators, and industrial clients across Qatar. Valiol operates as a Doha-based supplier of piping, valves, fittings, structural steel, and industrial equipment for the energy sector. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, and industrial clients. Promote and sell pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, plates, structural steel, and related products. Identify new business opportunities and generate RFQs and enquiries. Prepare technical and commercial quotations. Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities. Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely delivery. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Maintain strong market intelligence on Qatar’s energy and industrial sectors. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience with an Oil & Gas trading company in Qatar or GCC. Strong knowledge of industrial piping materials, valves, fittings, flanges, plates, and steel products. Existing network with EPC contractors, fabrication companies, refineries, petrochemical plants, and oil & gas operators is preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Valid Qatar Driving License preferred. Must be available for local transfer within Qatar.
